• My background includes 20 years nursing experience working with adults, families and children with physical disability and chronic illness in hospital and community settings.
• I have a specialty in music therapy working with developmental disabilities and autism in children and adults.

Education and training

• I have a passion for working with couples and families. With more than 10 years experience in counseling, my expertise is in expressive arts: music, rhythm, sandplay and movement for transformation and growth.
• Special training and licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy, Music Psychotherapy, Music Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandplay Therapy, and Nursing
• Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling and Music Therapy, Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado, 1997
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, 1985
