How Creative Music Therapy Works
Creative Music Therapy
is the art of creating music
and rhythm in the moment.
Through observation, and deeply listening to the personal and archetypal metaphor in a person's life, Kim is able to create music in the moment as an offering of nonverbal communication. Since life itself is an improvisation, musical and rhythmic conversations can be evoked without speaking a word.
In this way music is able to gently transform the human heart, soul and body. The experience is often fun and deeply relaxing as the client listens and actively participates in the process. Recorded music may be used to inspire or support the music therapy process.
